Fabien GABEN, PhD in physical chemistry held several positions in “Arcelor Group”, mainly in development of specialty alloys for electronic industry and as international project manager (French and Japanese teams) in the Arcelor-Nippon Steel alliance for automotive solutions.
He then started its entrepreneurial career as R&D director in “Sociéte de Véhicules Electriques”, a start-up company from Dassault Group.
In 2012, Fabien GABEN founded ITEN, an industrial and innovative start-up dedicated to the development of new generation of micro-batteries for electronic applications.
Fabien GABEN is author of more than 30 patents families and has been granted many awards like: “electron d’or” start-up of the year 2014, disruptive strategic prize from EY. He also won the “World Innovative Contest” organized by the French Government for energy storage .
Gaëlle Le Bel started her career as auditor at the giant auditing firm Arthur Andersen before joining HAVAS the well-known French tourism and communication group, as internal audit manager and then as regional finance director.
Backed by this background experience, she moved then to the biotech start-up GenOway as Chief Finance Officer before joining ITEN in September 2015. Gaëlle holds a master’s degree in economy and in chartered accounting. She has also graduated from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
Before joining ITEN, Alain was COO of Cityzen Sciences, a private company in the field of smart and connected textiles, Formerly, Alain Jutant handled successively several positions as CEO and VP business development of startup companies, director of business development for Asia and product line director in Atmel, director of Innovation and Strategy and industrial Marketing manager in subsidiaries of large industrial corporations (Thalès), and integrated circuit designer (Philips) as well.
He has more than 30 years background experience in sensors, semiconductors and electronic systems acquired on many different professional markets (medical, biometrics, industrial, digital photography) as well as mobile phone, computing, automotive, security and consumer markets. Alain has 20 year experience of management at Executive committee level. During his career, he has been involved in many scientific fields (Imaging, optics, mechanics, electronics, displays, RF communication, biometrics, textile, etc..) and has developed a vast network in these fields.
Alain JUTANT graduated from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 1985 and holds a master’s degree in electronics and microelectronics.
Leveraging 15 years’ experience in executive positions within European and US firms, Dr Ian Cayrefourcq leads the company development programs and helps the company accelerate in delivering its go-to-mass-production plan.
Before joining ITEN, Ian was scientific director and director of emerging technologies at ARKEMA, where he was in charge of all Arkema’s R&D activities in the fields of renewable energies (photovoltaics and energy storage) and electronics. Ian formerly had several leading positions in the microelectronics field especially at Dassault Electronique, Corning and Soitec as R&D or Business development director. Ian is also recognized as expert at EEC regarding Energy Storage and New Information and Communication Technologies (NICT). He has been author or co-author of more than 80 publications and of around 20 patents.
Ian holds a masters’ degree in material science and solid-state physics and also a PhD thesis in microelectronics.
Pierre started his career as purchaser in mechanics at Decouflé (Tobacco machines) and Thomson-CSF (now Thalès) before managing the purchasing department of Thomson-CSF CEPE in Argenteuil. Then he joined the renowned smart card maker GEMPLUS / GEMALTO as group equipment purchasing manager where he was in charge of purchasing manufacturing plants and machines and setting up 11 full production lines worldwide. He had then several positions of purchasing director within companies manufacturing special machines for the production of smart cards. Before joining ITEN as purchasing director, Pierre held several positions as site managing director in companies making electronics wiring equipments or dealing with smart card personalization.
Over 20 years, Bertrand Rollin had several positions within industrial departments of an international group and has indeed accrued a very strong experience across all production jobs. After managing first a subsidiairy and then all the production sites of the group, he then lead several industrial projects in a highly strategic context.
This background experience makes Bertrand proficient both in day-to-day operations and in medium term advanced scheduling. It also makes him the right interface between production on one hand and R&D or business teams on the other hand.
Bertrand holds a master’s degree in aeronautics.
