Customer returns (RMA)

RMA stands for Return Material Authorization. ITEN is fully committed to serve the best way its customers and to make their life easier. It may however happen that one of our customer faces problems in using our products and/or would like to express a dissatisfaction or complaint. In order to shorten the time required to deal with such complaint, ITEN strongly recommends to use the following process:

WHO WHAT
Customer Contacts ITEN sales and explains the complaint
Customer Fills-in the RMA form
ITEN Inputs the references of the purchase order object of the complaint in the ERP system and validates the return
ITEN Sends RMA number authorizing the physical return of pieces and shipping instructions
Customer Returns the pieces object of the RMA
ITEN Receives the returned pieces and issues a credit note
ITEN Analyses the returned pieces: inspection, electrical tests and transmits analysis report and conclusions to the customer
ITEN Input a replacement order (RMA pieces or spare parts) and confirms delivery date of the replacement order
ITEN Delivers either RMA pieces back or spare parts
ITEN Invoices and closes the RMA number at reception of the pieces by the customer

In any cases, products shall be eligible to return (RMA) only if the 4 following conditions are met:

  • A RMA number has been granted by ITEN customer service
  • The return complies with ITEN’s general sales conditions (see website link dans l’onglet PURCHASE NOW)
  • The returned products have been effectively manufactured by ITEN and sold by ITEN or one of its authorized distributors or representatives
  • The returned products have in no way been altered by the customer and are in the original form as supplied by ITEN

Product & process change notices

From time to time, ITEN may be required to change some key features of the technology, the processes and/or the products:
For instance, to improve performance, cost or reliability or because we have been forced to move to a next generation production equipment. In any cases, the goal shall probably be to better serve our target markets and applications.
Whatever the reason, ITEN commits to inform you at least 6 months in advance and give you the possibility either to adapt your product design or to generate your own stocks of products. Please feel free to contact our sales network for more information.

End of life notification

It is part of the lifecycle of any product to be stopped one day or the other:
Because the market is no longer there to produce it in viable conditions ; or because one production equipment became obsolete.
Anyhow, ITEN commits to inform you at least 6 months in advance and give you the possibility either to adapt your product design or to generate your own stocks of products. Please feel free to contact our sales network for more information.
